Anytime after you start your Monthly trial, you can also upgrade to an Annual subscription for $29.99 / year by doing the following:

Open device Settings
Select your Apple ID
Select Subscriptions
Select Wondery Kids+
Select the Annual Plan and follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
