If your Wondery app is experiencing technical issues such as excessive crashes, playback interruptions, or app load problems on your iPhone, please try the following troubleshooting steps to see if they help:
-
Force close the Wondery app. Starting from the Home screen, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen. On an iPhone 8 or earlier, double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps. Swipe up on the Wondery app's preview to close the app.
-
Delete all downloaded episodes. You can do this by going to the Settings wheel in the top right corner of the home screen, then scrolling down to Storage - Clear Cache.
-
Restart your device.
-
Update to the latest iOS operating system software. Make sure your device is running the most recent iOS software version.
-
Update to the latest version of the Wondery app. If your device hasn’t automatically updated the app, you can manually check for updates by opening the App Store, tapping "Today", tapping your profile icon, scrolling down to Wondery, and tapping "Update."
-
Uninstall and reinstall the Wondery app. From your device home screentouch and hold the app icon, tap "Remove App," then tap "Delete App.". Tap Delete once more to confirm, then reinstall the Wondery app from the iOS App Store.
