Settings & Troubleshooting
What video quality options are available?
Our app provides video content in multiple quality levels. Your device automatically selects the most appropriate quality based on your network conditions and device capabilities.
This adaptive system adjusts video quality in real-time, aiming to provide smooth playback with minimal buffering. While you can't manually select quality options, this automatic adjustment ensures the best possible viewing experience for your current conditions, whether you're on Wi-Fi or cellular data.
Can I limit video streaming to Wi-Fi?
Yes. Enable 'Stream Video on Wi-Fi Only' in settings to restrict video playback to Wi-Fi connections.
What should I do if video playback is interrupted?
During our beta phase, we're actively improving the video experience. Please report any playback issues through our support page to help enhance the viewing experience.
Why can't I find a specific video podcast?
Contact support with details about the video podcast you're seeking. We continuously expand our video content library for Wondery+ members.
How recent are the video episodes? Are they released at the same time as audio versions?
Video episodes for supported shows are typically released within a few hours of their audio counterparts. While not all historical episodes have video versions, we’re continually expanding our video offerings.
Is video available on Wondery.com?
At present, video playback is only available on the Wondery App for iPhone and Android. Stay tuned for updates on additional device support for video in the future.
