Can I Play Podcasts from the Wondery App through Alexa or Echo Devices (in the U.S.)?

Before You Can Get Started, You Will Need:

An Amazon Echo, Amazon Fire TV or Alexa-enabled speaker that is already set up with the Amazon Alexa app on your iOS or Android device.

Using the Alexa App to Link Your Wondery Account:

On your mobile device (iOS/Android) 

1. Download and open the Alexa app 

2. Select MORE, then select SETTINGS

3. Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts  

4. Select Link New Service 

5. Select Wondery and follow the on-screen instructions in the Wondery app. 

Using the Amazon Website to Link Your Wondery Account:

1. Visit Wondery’s Alexa page here.

2. Click the Enable button and follow the on-screen instructions 

To Set Wondery as Your Default Podcast Provider:

On your mobile device (iOS/Android) 

1. Open the Alexa app 

2. Select MORE, then select SETTINGS

3. Under Alexa Preferences, select Music & Podcasts  

4. Select Default Services 

5. Under Podcasts, tap change and select Wondery. 

You Can Ask Alexa to Play Your Wondery Podcasts:

You can ask Alexa to play Wondery shows, seasons, playlists and episodes. Just ask:

“Alexa, play Morbid on Wondery.” 

“Alexa, resume Dr Death on Wondery”
